Here's a check of the road work for the week (10/7-10/11).
In Camden County for the expressway, excavation and drainage work continues at Case Road and Broadwater Road. Construction of the new Case Road over the new expressway begins in the first few weeks of October. On the old Highway 5 grading and paving continues at Bridal Cave Road, Lake Road 5-88. And crews continue to remove the old Route 5 between Pier 31 road and Bridal Cave Road. Traffic should not be affected. Also on Route 5 one mile north of Route F, grading and resurfacing continues in the southbound lane. One lane will be open and crews will flag drivers through the area.
In Morgan County on Route 50 between the city limits of Tipton and the city limits of Sedalia, roadwork will take place in both eastbound and westbound lanes Wednesday and Thursday of this week. One lane will be open in each directon.
And in Miller County rock blasting continues between Business Route 54 and the Osage River. The work should be done by early 2010.
