A bass boat joyride leads to felony charges for three Kansas residents.

Osage beach were called Friday night and told a boat without its lights on was cruising in the main channel.  The joyriders were apparently traveling by moonlight and a nearby officer heard but could not see the boat.  Police then saw the boat pull into Kapilana Resort on the Glaize Arm and police met the joyriders in the parking lot.

Officers charged 23-year-old Travis Hill of Topeka, Kansas, 21-year-old Michelle McAdams of Topeka, Kansas, and 29-year-old Cajun Titus of Carbondale, Kansas, with tampering with a vessel.

A bass tournament official owns the boat which was returned undamaged.
