Today (10/19) marks the beginning of two local cleanup projects.

The public works department in the city of Lake Ozark starts today picking up items placed curbside for their fall cleanup. Crews will pickup Lake Roads 8 through 10 today and Bagnell Dam Boulevard down to School Road. Items accepted include furniture, tools, tires, clothing and knick knacks.  The city will not take explosives, household waste, yard waste, or remodeling materials.  Call city hall at 365-5378 for routes for the next four days.

And the white goods cleanup begins today and last until the end of the month in the city of Osage Beach.  The public works department has a dumpster at their facility on Chapel Drive for drop offs. White goods include refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, air conditioners, water heaters, and dish washers. The city will accept items during regular business hours and for more information call 302-2000.
