Five Men Charged in Early July Incident |

An incident back in July leads to a variety of charges for five local men.
Early in the morning July 3rd, a truck pulled up to a residence on Bourbon Street in Eldon. Jesse Lee Jones of Eldon got out of the truck and got into an altercation with James Earlywine of Eldon. During the fight, Earlywine asked Joshua Groce and Clinton Graves, both of Eldon to help him. They held down Jones as Earlywine beat him. James Earlywine's father, John, came out of the home during the fight and fired a 9 MM at nearby witnesses.
John Earlywine faces a class D felony unlawful use of a weapon charge. James Earlywine is facing two counts of felony assault, one is assault in the second degree which is a class C felony. Jones faces one count of felony assault in the second degree. Graves and Groce both face one count of felony assault in the first degree and one count of felony assault in the second degree. |
