Here's a check of the road work for the week (10/12-10/16). In Camden County on the new 54 Expressway, paving work continues this week. Also excavation and drainage work continues in the Case Road, Broadwater Road area. Construction of the new Case Road Bridge over the new expressway should begin within the next few days. On Route 5 from 2 miles south of the Niangua Bridge to south of Camdenton near Route 7, grading work for the right in, right out at Bear Paw Road and the new Route 5 continues. Traffic in the area should not be affected. On Route 5, one mile north of Route F in Sunrise Beach, grading and resurfacing continues in the southbound lane for the widening of that road. And on Route 7 from Camdenton to Laclede County, one southbound lane will be open starting tomorrow for roadway patching. In Miller County, grading and drainage work for the new Osage River Bridge on Route 17 continues. And minor delays can be expected for rock blasting between Business Route 54 and the Osage River. There is no road work scheduled for Morgan County this week. |
