A St. Robert woman is injured in an nearly head on accident just north of Dixon yesterday afternoon (10/19). Thirty-nine-year old Janna Mosley of St. Robert was driving her 1999 Mercedes sport utility vehicle south on Highway 28, one and a half miles north of Dixon. At about 4:45, the Mercedes crossed the centerline in a curve and nearly hit a 1999 northbound Ford Explorer head on. The Explorer, driven by 22-year-old Catherine Thomas of Dixon, traveled off the east side of the road and came to rest on the shoulder. The Mercedes overturned and went off the east side of the road, coming to rest on its wheels. Mosley was wearing her seat belt and suffered serious injuries. She was flown to University Hospital in Columbia by Lifeline Air Ambulance. The driver of the Explorer suffered minor injuries. |
