Voters will answer three questions this election day.

In Gravois Mills the ballot asks if the village should be authorized to impose a sales tax of a half cent to fund capital improvements. Those improvements could include the retirement of debt.

Residents in the Morgan County R-2 school district will decide whether or not to approve a 25 cent increase per $100 of assessed valuation.  The Versailles School District would like to issue $8.3 million dollars in bonds with the money.  That money will be used to construct a fine arts building, repair and replace various roofs, remodel the elementary school gym, replace air conditioners and bleachers in the high school and middle school gyms, and make asphalt parking lot improvements. Stimulus money could be used on the school project as well.

And the final question for voters today will be asked in Camden County.  Public Water Supply District #1 is asking for $1.5 million dollars in special obligation bonds.  The money would be used to expand, enlarge, construct, improve and equip the Macks Creek area system. The bonds will be paid for by fees for service raised in the water supply district.

Polls close at 7 this evening.
