The Camdenton license office should be back up for bid after the Missouri Department of Revenue says its new manager submitted incomplete information.
The Springfield-based Alternative Opportunities successfully bid for a total of ten license offices statewide. According to the Missouri Department of Revenue the requests for proposals that the bidders followed for guidance said that winning bidders could not use subcontractors to provide the main services at offices. Apparently the manager of the Camdenton office is being paid by W.D. Management, a subsidiary of Providence Service Corporation. The department of revenue says that is a violation of the subcontractor rule. The Missouri Office of Administration will issue new requests for proposals by the end of this month, giving five weeks next year for the bids to be received. Alternative Opportunities will maintain control their Camdenton office and nine others in the state until the bid is re-awarded. |
