Two Projects Added to Stimulus STIP |

 Low bids are putting two local road projects on MoDOT's stimulus to do list.
The transportation department says two projects will now be added to the portion of the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) funded by stimulus.
MoDOT will resurface route 87 in Miller County from Salem Road to Route 54 in Eldon and resurface Route CC in Miller County from Salem Road to Route 52.
With bids coming in for stimulus projects about 10% below expectations, MoDOT will be able to resurface about 112 miles of additional roads using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act money. |
