A Climax Springs teenager could face charges after a single vehicle accident Sunday night in Benton County.

Nineteen-year-old Victoria Roderick was driving her 1995 Pontiac north on Missouri seven one mile south of Route DD at about 7:25.  Roderick attempted to avoid a deer in the road, swerved off the right side of the road and hit a tree. The Pontiac overturned and came to rest on its passenger side.

Roderick was not wearing her seat belt and suffered moderate injuries.  She was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F says the investigation into the incident is ongoing and charges are pending.
