Sewer and Water Rate Meeting in January |

It won't be until January but customers of the Lake Region Water and Sewer Company will be able to comment publicly about proposed water and sewer rate changes.
Back on October 7th, Lake Region Water and Sewer Company filed rate requests with the Missouri Public Service Commission asking to increase annual water and sewer operating revenues by approximately $330,000. That would increase the average monthly water bill of it's residential customers in Shawnee Bend by 70% and 51% for customers in Horseshoe Bend.
The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing in Osage Beach on January 26th next year to take public comments.
