Survey Points to Several Issues for Osage Beach PDF Print E-mail

Osage Beach employees are implementing the suggestions from a city wide survey.

The city recently held the survey through the mail and online. Assistant City Administrator Gina Albertson says citizens voiced several main concerns.

“Quality of the lake, there were several questions about sewage, water quality, those kind of things, concerns,” Albertson said. “Economy was the other concern, value of your tax dollar, what are we doing, services, upkeep. But overall everybody seemed satisfied.”

Albertson says several priorities emerged as well.

“And that included public safety and EMS, planning and development and street maintenance.  And then also, two other priorities were value for tax dollar which I think was from the idea that the economy, worried about the cost of everything, and the quality of services.”

The city has posted the results of the 2009 survey online at www.osagebeach.org.
